As we make our descent, if weather and time allow, we’ll stop by the Pueblito de Farellones, a picturesque mountain village perfect for discovering local shops and cafes.

This tour is ideal for winter sports enthusiasts eager to embrace Chile's season, which generally spans from June to September each year, though this may vary with weather conditions.

Descripción del Tour

We will depart from our hotel in Santiago in the early morning hours, between 5:00 and 5:30 AM, to venture towards Farellones and Valle Nevado.

Before ascending, we will make a short stop at a rental shop. Here, you can hire snow apparel, gloves, boots, sleds, or ski gear (not included in the package price).

Subsequently, we will proceed on our journey, entering the renowned Road of 40 Curves, located roughly 46 km from Santiago.
During the drive, you will start to witness the breathtaking scenery of the Andes Mountains. With a bit of luck, we might spot some of the region's wildlife, such as viscachas, foxes, pumas, and condors. At the midpoint, the eagerly awaited snow will come into view.

In about an hour, we will reach the Valle Nevado Ski Center, nestled in the heart of the Andes. This center spans more than 9,300 hectares of skiable terrain, boasting over 37 kilometers distributed across 44 slopes, categorized by difficulty levels.

We will have the opportunity to enjoy skiing and snowboarding on the slopes. Beginners can take lessons from professional instructors to enhance their skills on the snow or simply relish the stunning white landscape.

On our descent, weather permitting, we can visit the Pueblito de Farellones, a delightful mountain village that serves as an entry point to the ski and snowboard resorts during winter. Here, we can explore the local shops, cafes, and restaurants.
Farellones Park is also an option, offering activities like tubing, skiing, a cable car ride, and more. Please note that entrance to Farellones Park is not included in the package and is optional. Tickets can be purchased directly on-site upon arrival.

We will enjoy the snow, scenery, and activities until 3:00 p.m. At this time, we will gather at the designated meeting point to start our descent down the mountain, returning to Santiago.
